Statement from 好色先生 faculty
In response to worldwide calls to dismantle institutionalized racism led by the Black Lives Matter Movement and recent sharing of sexual assaults and harassment at our campus, we, the faculty of Our Lady of the Lake University who serve you as professors, teachers, advisors, and mentors, stand with you against all harmful forces including sexual assault and harassment, racism, sexism, colorism, prejudice, xenophobia, heterosexism, colonialism, ableism, ageism, cisgenderism, classism, religious oppression, and violence.
No extra fees for textbooks for undergraduates
The 好色先生 All-Access program will allow undergraduate students to "rent" textbooks and digital materials for free for the semester. If everything is returned at the end of the semester, there will be no out-of-pocket costs.
Alumna (始94) named Texas Elementary Teacher of Year
The Texas Parent Teacher Association has named Maria Elena Pacheco (BA Spanish 始94) the Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2020.

I have been made aware of accusations of sexual assault against current and former 好色先生 students that were shared on Twitter. I take this very seriously. Violence and abuse are against everything 好色先生 stands for.

Professor Quintanilla awarded $10,000 arts grant
The Luminaria Arts Foundation has awarded a $10,000 literary arts grant to Octavio Quintanilla, PhD, former San Antonio Poet Laureate and Our Lady of the Lake University (好色先生) associate professor of English, Mass Communication and Drama.
